NCC officers: Capt (Dr) Vijay Sharma (Girls’ Wing) CTO Dr. Satbir Singh (Boys’ Wing) The college is committed to producing disciplined, spirited, and patriotic human resources through its fully functional NCC wings of boys and girls under the able command and guidance of its NCC officers and Capt. (Dr) Vijay Sharma and Dr. Satbir Singh. Selfless devotion, hard work, urge for excellence & continuous perseverance of ANOs have resulted in creating dedicated & devoted cadets of NCC who are ever willing to serve the nation. The details of various camping, adventure, and social welfare activities undertaken by the NCC cadets during the current academic year are given below:
NCC BOYS’ WING
The following is a list of activities of cadets and the NCC unit of the college for the session 2021-2022:
- 35 Cadets participated in the Independence Day Celebration at Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. on August 15, 2021.
- Cadet Narayan Siwach donated blood in the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organized by the YRC Unit of the college on September 02, 2021.
- 18 Cadets participated and successfully completed the Annual Training Camp (NCC B-Certificate) organized by 2 Haryana Battalion NCC, Ambala Cantt. at Govt. College (PG), Sector 1, Panchkula, Haryana from October 26- 30, 2021.
- 3 Cadets participated in the NCC Day Celebration organized by National Cadet Corps, Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. on November 28, 2021.
- 5 Cadets participated in a State Level Competition organized by St. John Ambulance, India in collaboration with the YRC Unit of Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. from December 13-15, 2021, and the team of the cadets achieved 1st Position in March Past and 2nd Position in First Aid Competition. The Chief Guest of the event was the Honorable Governor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya.
- 31 Cadets participated in the Republic Day Celebration at Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. on January 26, 2022.
- 12 Cadets participated in the Republic Day Parade before the Chief Minister, Honorable Shri Manohar Lal Khattar at DAV School, Police Line, Ambala City on January 26, 2022.
- 3 Cadets participated in and successfully completed one day, “Inter-Generation Mela/Sensitization Programme on Integration Bonding” organized by the Youth Red Cross unit on February 22, 2022.
- 11 Cadets participated in an event of Statue Cleaning and Cleanliness Drive to pay tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his death anniversary (March 23, 2022).
- Cadet Himanshu and Cadet Keshav attended a Seven Day and Night Camp on, “Atmanirbhar Bharat” organized by the National Service Scheme Unit of Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. from February 11-17, 2022.
- Cadet Himanshu and Cadet Keshav attended One Day Camp organized by the National Service Scheme Unit on February 22, 2022.
- Cadet Narayan Siwach attended and successfully completed the Youth Red Cross Study Cum Training Camp organized by the YRC Unit on February 14, 2022.
- Cadet Himanshu and Cadet Prashant participated in a One Day Awareness Workshop on, “Drug De-Addiction and Substance Abuse” organized by the YRC Unit of the College on March 30, 2022.
- Cadet Himanshu and Cadet Prasant participated in a Workshop on, “Life Savings” organized by the YRC Unit of Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt. from April 04-05, 2022.
